Here is a step-by-step guide to installing FMWhatsApp on your Android device:
- Download the FMWhatsApp APK:
- Before you start, ensure that you’ve downloaded the FMWhatsApp APK file from a reliable source.
- The APK file name, as seen in the first image, should be something like
FMWhatsApp_Latest.apk
.
- Locate the APK File:
- Open your device’s file manager or downloads folder.
- Locate the downloaded APK file named
.FMWhatsApp_Latest
.apk
2. Prepare for Installation:
- Before installing an APK file from outside the Google Play Store, you need to enable “Unknown Sources.” This can be done by going to
Settings > Security
(orSettings > Apps & notifications > Special app access
on some devices), and then toggling on the option to allow your device to install apps from unknown sources.
3. Install the APK:
- Tap on the APK file. A prompt will appear asking if you want to install the app. This is depicted in the third image.
- Confirm the installation by tapping “Install.” The installation process will begin.
4. Complete Installation:
- Once the installation is complete, you will see a screen saying “App installed,” as shown in the first image.
- You can then either tap “Done” to finish or “Open” to launch FMWhatsApp immediately.
5. Grant Permissions:
- If you tap “Open,” the app may ask for various permissions to function correctly.
- As shown in the second image, FMWhatsApp may request permission to “Allow access to manage all files.” Slide the toggle to grant this permission if you’re comfortable with it. Be cautious with this permission, as it gives the app access to all files on your device.
6. Complete the Setup:
- After granting the necessary permissions, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your FMWhatsApp account. This will likely involve verifying your phone number and restoring your chats from a backup if you’re switching from the standard WhatsApp.
- Once the setup is complete, you can start using FMWhatsApp with its additional features.
